The EU funded project S2G2M2 is inviting 20 developers to ESA's ESTEC location in Noordwijk (including travel expenses and accommodation) from 4 - 12 May 2014! Registration has ended on 10 March. Among all applicants, the 20 participants for the Space App Camp will now be selected depending on the creativity of their previous works with regard to content, usability, design, and the underlying business concepts.
These 20 developers have the opportunity to meet with like-minded people, create mobile applications using satellite data, and gain insight into ESA's work.
During the Space App Camp participants will be provided with access to satellite data for the development of mobile applications (Android and iOS) in predefined categories. The Space App Camp aims at resulting in working app prototypes, which integrate EGNOS and Copernicus data. In addition a business concept for the application shall be developed.
A winning team will be selected by a jury of ESA, EC and consortium representatives on the final day of the Space App Camp.
Registration was open from 20 December 2013 to 10 March 2014.
